HGV Technician
Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire
Salary: £15 - £15.75 an hour + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Full - Time, Monday - Friday

The Role:
As an HGV Technician, you will undertake routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs).
Responsibilities:
* Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and safety concerns.
* Replace or repair faulty components, including brakes, engines, and transmissions.
* Solder, assemble, and fabricate parts as required.
* Adhere to schematics and technical manuals for proper repair procedures.
* Use hand tools and equipment for effective repairs.
* Perform welding tasks as needed.
* Conduct road tests to ensure proper vehicle functioning.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or in a similar role.
* Strong mechanical understanding and working experience with HGV trucks.
* Expertise in schematics and technical manuals.
* Ability to fabricate, solder, assemble, and weld parts.
* Skilled in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
* Forklift operation experience.

Shift:
* Week 1: 07:00 - 16:00
* Week 2: 12:00 - 21:00 (Late shift)
