- Rate of Pay: GBP15.00 up to GBP22phr

- Must have had your HGV1 licence 2 years!
- Must have Container experience (DP WORLD Certificate needed)
- Contract Length: 12 weeks / ongoing / ad-hoc
- Hours of Work: 4am/6am starts - finish (could lead to a night out)
- GBP23/GBP30 a night out.
- Availability Required: Monday - Friday / Ad-Hoc Basis
- Location: Southampton

We are on the lookout for aClass 1 driver, Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1 Container drivers to join our team, to work on behalf of our client based in Southampton.

Role and Responsibilities - Class 1 driver, Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1 Container drivers:
- Driving HGV1 articulated container automatic gearshift lorries;
- Keeping all paperwork and electronic records updated
- Using internet connected smartphone devices to complete drops and collections;
- Adhering to DP World London Gateway procedures while inside Port areas;
- Maintaining an accurate record of break times according to WTD regulations;
- Adhering to both agencies and client's regulations and procedures
Skills and Experience - Class 1 driver, Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1 Container drivers:
- Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
- Must hold a Digital Tachograph card
- Must not have more than 6 points on the licence
- Must have at least 2 years of experience of HGV1 CONTAINER driving
- Must have experience in Containers
- Must be able to use electronic devices (EPODs/smartphones/instruction screens)
- Must have a good English level (speaking, writing, understanding)
- Must have a good working knowledge of UK motorway road network and WTD regulations.
