HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver (Nights)

Class 1 Driver

Menzies Distribution are looking for a number of HGV/LGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customer, providing a first class service with our team in Larkhall.

What You Really Want To Know:

• Salary: £33,273.68 Per Annum / £15.99 Per Hour
• Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday
• Start Times Between: 14:45-22:30 
• 40 Hours Per Week Basic
• The holiday allowance is 28 days inclusive of bank holidays
• Monthly Pay
• Parking Onsite

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations.
• Delivering product on behalf of MDS and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading
• Use of moffett truck (night shift)

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 12 months previous Class 1 driving experience
• Excellent driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
