Job Title: HICX Co-Cordinator (Vendor Onboarding and Training Specialist)

Contract Length: 12 Months (Renewable)

Location: Hybrid (remote working and 2 days per week in Durham office)

Daily Rate: £230pd (Inside IR35)

Start Date: ASAP

The role:

Our client is seeking seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HICX Co-Ordinator (Vendor Onboarding and Training Specialist) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring their smooth integration into our organization. You will also develop and deliver training programs to equip both internal and external stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the activity of vendor onboarding. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional vendor experiences.

Job responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new vendors, including gathering required documentation, verifying qualifications, and conducting vendor assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new vendors into our systems and processes.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for internal and external stakeholders covering topics such as online operational procedures, and customer service excellence.
• Create training materials, presentations, and manuals to support vendor training initiatives.
• Conduct in-person or virtual training sessions to educate internal and external stakeholders on our company policies, standards, and expectations.
• Monitor vendor performance, maintain vendor database and provide ongoing support and guidance to address any gaps or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements such as vendor categorisation and automation within the vendor onboarding and training function.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of vendor onboarding and training activities.

Person Specification :

• HICX (or equivalent) knowledge and experience is preferred.
• IFS knowledge and experience is preferred.
• Experience of working in an operational environment, ideally with an engineering or industrial sector background.
• Working knowledge of Procurement
• Educated to A 'Level'/ GNVQ business studies or equivalent qualification with the ability to demonstrate supply chain and procurement experience.
• CIPS desirable
• Experience of building relationships with internal and external parties.
• Team player.
