Role Purpose:
We are seeking an Associate Relationship Manager to help us develop and grow our Private Banking business in London.
The role holder will be principally based in our Private Bank UK office in Mayfair, London but is expected to work a minimum of 3 days per week either in the office or visiting clients in person.
The target market for the role holder will be UK Resident and UK Domiciled clients with investable assets of $5m + based in London and the surrounding areas.
• The principal purpose is to provide full-service banking and wealth management services to High Net Worth individuals through the marketing of HSBC Private Bank services.
• A secondary requirement is to generate new Assets Under Management (AUM) and increase overall portfolio revenues through growing share of wallet from existing clients
• The role holder will work closely alongside an experienced Relationship Manager who will oversee the overall relationship with all clients.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Day to day interaction with HNW customers, ensuring their objectives are met through effective portfolio allocation and partnering with the Senior Relationship Manager and other key departments such as Investment Counselling, Wealth Planning and Credit Advisory.
• Conducts regular portfolio risk reviews, and ensures that clients are aware of their risk.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to ensure profitability for the client.
• Proactively identifies viable new business leads and acts on them where appropriate.
