SalaryOur School is seeking to appoint an experienced and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will cover teacher absence and release time in KS2 (Y5/6) when needed, as well as provide support to pupils' learning. In addition, the HLTA will be responsible for line managing a team of LSAs (performance management training provided).
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 3.30 pm (term time only, plus inset days). 31 hours 15 minutes per week.
Candidate Requirements:
- A passion for supporting children's social and emotional wellbeing as well as learning.
- Experience as a learning support assistant/Teaching Assistant within Key Stage 2 (Y5/6).
- Experience covering classes.
- Secure subject knowledge in English and maths.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and inspire others.
