Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Hlta)

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to work for our partner schools that are seeking new staff for the next academic year.

A HLTA plays a key role in supporting teaching and learning across various subject areas, working closely with teaching staff to enhance the educational experience for students.

Responsibilities:

· Support teaching staff in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons, including preparing resources and materials.

· Lead small group activities and interventions to support students' learning and progress.

· Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance or guidance, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.

· Assist with the assessment and evaluation of student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.

· Manage behaviour effectively in the classroom, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

· Contribute to the development of educational programs and initiatives, collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

· Support the integration of technology into teaching and learning activities, helping students to develop digital literacy skills.

Requirements:

· Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent.

· Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a school setting.

· Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach to tasks.

· A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Pay: £90.00-£120.00 per day
