To work as an autonomous practitioner within the service being professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your workUsing your own initiative, ability to prioritise and excellent organisation skills are all a prerequisite for this post.To manage a complex caseload, using evidence based, client centred principles to provide highly specialised assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation and coordination of therapy intervention, for complex physical and psychological conditions in the most appropriate setting.To initiate your own continued professional development through researching best practice, networking with colleagues and seeking training opportunities and support/ clinical supervision sessions.To be responsible for training, supervision and appraisal for all staff in specialist area and to be responsible for the training and performance management of therapy students.To identify, initiate and implement service development.To provide Highly Specialist knowledge, skills and advice to clients, and be a source of expertise for therapy staff, other members of the MDT and other agencies.Provide specialist training to both therapists and other professionals as required.To lead a specialist area of clinical expertise and propose service changes which may impact on the wider MDT and ensure safe delivery of a quality service.To be accountable for the delivery of specialist skills within professional area.To support the Community Bed Based Leadership team as required.
