Highway Network Engineer

We are currently looking for a Highway Network Engineer. You will be working in Wakefield (WF1). This role offers Hybrid working

Monday - Friday

08:00am - 16:00pm

Temp Contract

Pay rate - 24.66ph paye or 35ph umbrella

Job Purpose

• Responsible for the management of the Highway Network in accordance with the Highways Act 1980 to ensure that the highway is maintained in a safe and accessible condition.
• To manage the condition surveys of the Highway Network.
• To manage the Asset team effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain the asset management software systems and assist in the development and maintenance of the Highways Asset Management Plan and associated policies.
• To take responsibility for the development of the annual capital works programme in accordance with given priorities and resources.
