Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Salary: Up to £13.25 per hour
What will you be responsible for?
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you'll be working within the Operative team, supporting them with reactive and planned Highways Maintenance works such as pothole repairs, kerb laying, drainage, out-of-hours emergency call- out and winter maintenance duties.
Your day to day will include:
- Contributing to the promotions of customer care by working closely with team members, ensuring client and network users are dealt with in a polite and courteous manner
- Operating a variety of plant and equipment, carrying out required duties effectively, training will be provided if required, ensuring site and company equipment is always secure, use of Confirm application, accurately recording site works and uploading photographic evidence
- Completing daily record sheets as required
What are we looking for?
This role of Highways Maintenance Operative is great for you if:
- You are 12d Lantra Traffic Management trained
- Have an LGV driving licence
- Can work on your own initiative and as part of a team
