A fantastic opportunity to join a close knit and forward thinking team within our Hire Desk department, based in Alton. We are looking for a committed, forward thinking individual who would like to truly progress within a customer service setting. Main Purpose of the Role

To ensure customer expectations are met through the management, distribution, and maintenance of the hire fleet.

Working closely with the Customer Service Executive Team to achieve all orders being dispatched on time and in full.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Process and answer all the Hire Desk queries.

  1. Manage the stock system and product distribution between depots.

  1. Provide customers with the appropriate levels of support through the hire journey.

  1. Deal with the Hire Desk processes & queries.

  1. Ensuring all delivery dates are met and notify the Customer Service Executive/Transport team immediately if there are any changes/problems.

  1. Efficiently manage all the following tasks:

    • Scheduling in of large deliveries

    • Processing all Off hires requests

    • Liaising with customer for all off hire requests and booking details

    • Record and pass on all customer complaints to relevant departments.

    • Maintain and update records of sales to hire conversions of equipment.

    • Minimum hire stock levels maintained and updated for all depots.

    • Follow up on all FOC hires to maintain the 1-week trial.

    • Arrange all 6-monthly hire exchange/swap outs.

    • Track and keep all test certs up to date for the hire fleet.

    • Send off weekly live hire reports to all customers.

    • Goods in for all off hire stock following inspections from Hire Fleet yards.

    • Communication with operation departments for lead times and stock questions.

    • Handle queries from warehouse, yard, and transport.

    • Liaison with Transport for all site bookings.

  1. Actively looking for ways to wow the customer

    • Have the autonomy to spot where a gift is suitable.

    • Genuine care for the customer.

    • Attention to detail.

  • Orders and work-flow processed seamlessly
  • Customer satisfaction through the company NPS score
  • Delivery in full & on time. Ensure info and paperwork is with operations in a timely manner to ensure we can meet the customers expectations
  • Solution providing for both the team and customer
  • Maintain a positive image to the customer of the Conquip Brand
  • Hire fleet utilisation percentage
