SalaryAs a Hire Desk Controller, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling their equipment hire inquiries and ensuring efficient coordination of equipment deliveries and collections. Your role will involve managing the Hire Desk operations, maintaining excellent customer relations, and supporting the overall productivity and efficiency of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing information on equipment availability, pricing, and hire terms.
Process hire orders, ensuring accurate entry of information into the system.
Coordinate delivery and collection schedules with customers and the logistics team.
Monitor and manage the status of equipment hires, ensuring timely returns and addressing any issues that arise.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all hire transactions and customer communications.
Assist in resolving any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Liaise with the sales and service teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Contribute to the development and implementation of improved Hire Desk processes and procedures.
You will need strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and hire management systems. You must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
