Join our team! Tradewind Recruitment are actively searching for a full time long term History Teacher to work in a highly supportive and inclusive school within the Thanet area. This role is an immediate start and will be until the end of the academic year - salary of between £30,000 and £41,333 depending on experience
The role:
• Create and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Attend parents evenings and departmental meetings when required
• Cultivate a stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking
• Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to bring history to life for students
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning community where every student feels valued and supported
Requirements:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history
• Experience teaching History at secondary level
• Ability to differentiate to meet the needs of varying abilities
• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
