Axcis Education are working with a college in the Hornsey area. The school are rated “Good” with Ofsted and encourages their children to push their limits and discover that anything is possible. As a History teacher, you will be teaching pupils within a mainstream school at A level. Minimal SEN knowledge required. You must be prepared to deliver A level content as well as coursework to your students. Furthermore, you may be required to support extra curricular activities within your subject area. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching (QTS required) and specialist subject knowledge. You must be passionate about your subject and inspiring students. It would be preferable for the candidate to have knowledge about Special Educational Needs, but not required. The candidate will be available full time and will start ASAP. Candidates must be able to work full time, Monday-Friday from the hours of 8:30am-4pm. The college is within 15 minutes walking distance from the nearest train station. What you will need: • QTS • History subject knowledge • Confident & strong classroom management skills • 1 years worth of references • A DBS on the update service (or be willing to pay for a new one) Preferred skills: • Knowledge on Special Educational Needs
