Holiday Cottage Cleaner - York
Summary

Holidays are booming in York and we are urgently looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner who would like occasional hours of work preparing our stunning Holiday Cottages in the heart of York for our guests. The location has amazing views of York Minster, and you’ll reap the benefits of working in gorgeous surroundings. We are a friendly team and are immensely proud of our cottages and the standard we provide for our guests. You will be able to work independently or as part of a team, have an eye for detail, and great communication skills.

Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term position. You’ll need to be available between 10.00am and 3.00pm with the main changeover days being Fridays and Mondays. Wherever possible, we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we're looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business, so please apply and talk to us about the hours you can do. There is no Sunday working. Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.

Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 28th February 2025

Pay: £10.50 per hour

Internally you will be known as Holiday Operations Assistant

What you'll be doing

On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything’s clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.

Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.
