SalaryWe are looking for motivated Home Care Assistants to work in service user's private home settings (DOMICILIARY CARE). The candidate must be fully trained with experience in care and must have a traceable CV. Fuel allowance paid for drivers.
You will assist the service users with a variety of duties such as complete personal care, hygienic food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean. When doing so you must observe and respect the service user’s dignity, privacy and independence as far as is practical.

Main duties and responsibilities include:
● Supporting the registered manager in the implementation of an agreed plan of care with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received
● Helping to promote and maintain an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the patient/relatives and carers.
● Contributing to a team approach to service users living in their own home environment.
● Contributing to the legality and accuracy of the patient’s care plan and or other reports and the effectiveness of the established communication/reporting system over the full 24hrs.
● Assisting the patient to ensure they have the opportunity to meet their individual dietary requirements. Ensuring all patient's independence and to receive their chosen and correct meals.
● To escort stable patients to hospital appointments, collecting medication from pharmacy, shopping and attending events.
