Bridgend County Borough Council provides a range of care and support services. We are seeking to recruit some great new support staff. If you are a positive, caring person who would like to help people then your skills, knowledge and experience will be welcome.

We are seeking people with the right values, people who are positive and caring, who are able to contribute and make a difference to people’s lives, who have good communication skills and are able to work as part of a professional multi skilled team.

Our Support at Home service works with many professionals in the community, such as Social Workers, District Nurses, and Occupational Therapists to support people’s choice to live at home. Bridgend County Borough Council offers great opportunities for people wishing to work in the Social Care sector and you will be supported to attend training and further develop your knowledge and skills to support a career progression in the sector.

We have a range of contractual hours to offer you in our Support at Home Service; these include contracts based on 16, 20, 25 that will be discussed with you further as you progress through the recruitment process.
