Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting in the overall design and execution of primary research projects, including but not limited to:
- Carrying out thorough and pertinent data analysis
- Supporting in the production of research reports, using visual storytelling
- Supplier relationship management
- Working on a number of different projects at the same time (normally in different subject areas and across various methodologies)
Key Candidate Expectations:
- College or university degree in business, communications, social or political science, statistics, mathematics, economics, etc., or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in research (in an agency/research institute or in-house/client-side, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- An outgoing, ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to take responsibility for a variety of tasks
- A ‘team player’ who is willing to help colleagues whenever necessary
- Desire to learn, and a proactive attitude to doing so
- Curiosity about what makes people think and act the way they do
- Enjoys working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment
- International research experience is a distinct advantage
- Experience within a brand, public relations or consumer marketing insights agency is an advantage
- Experience with a mix of data and insights tools is a strong advantage. This may include – but not limited to – social listening tools (Brandwatch, TalkWalker, Meltwater, Synthesio...), audience intelligence solutions (Global Web Index, Demographics Pro...), trends analysis platforms (Insider Intelligence, Mintel, Google Trends, WARC...), etc.
