Position: REGISTERED NURSING HOME MANAGER
Location: BLACKBURN
Salary: c£70K + BONUS – NEGOTIABLE DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE
Hours: FULL TIME
A rare and dynamic opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning small group of Nursing Homes.
Located in Blackburn with local amenities close by, we are thrilled to be recruiting for on behalf of our prestigious client, aHome Manager / Registered Manager for their NEW Nursing Home. This, purpose-built care home is due to open early 2024, and will offer compassionate and high-quality care, fostering a sense of community, well-being and independence.
Job Requirements:
An accomplished and experienced Registered Home Manager is required to run this exciting new phase for an award-winning group of Care Homes.
- Experience in Managing a New Home is desirable.
- Experience with the Local Authority is essential.
- It is paramount that you strive to provide exceptional levels of care within Residential, Nursing and Palliative care settings.
- You must be a dedicated, motivated and inspiring manager who is able to lead from the front.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse Qualification – desirable not essential
- Proven track record in the management & delivery of high-quality elderly care
- Commissioning experience
- Exceptional knowledge of Dementia Care
- Thorough understanding of The CQC Standards & Policies
- Commercially minded with the ability to drive KPIs such as; occupancy, staffing, recruitment, compliance & networking to ensure the company's long-term success
- Experienced in supervising, guiding, and supporting staff.
- Prior experience managing budgets and completing detailed and analytical reports.
- Have excellent communicative & organisational skills
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
