We're working with a growing care home provider proud of their quality new build homes and with a caring and warm heart. They are seeking an experienced nursing Home Manager looking for a new challenge to join their new home in the Blackburn area. You don't have to have a Nursing qualification for this role. Experience of commissioning new homes is desirable, but not essential.

What you'll do as Home Manager: Be responsible for the safe, happy, efficient and cost effective day to day running of the Home, Leading the Home’s operations and activities according to its registration status and conditions, in compliance with legal requirements to achieve the best possible outcomes for residents, Developing, promoting and maintaining high standards of care and services, where residents are safe and well protected at all times, Developing, implementing and maintaining the systems and structures needed to run the Home in the interests of residents, Driving the commercial health of the Home, developing and managing effectively and efficiently the financial, human and material resources, Proudly champion the Home, promoting and marketing its calibre of care, Inspiring leadership and motivation of the staff team, driving a positive culture where individuals are supported to achieve their best.
What you'll bring: It is essential that you have solid experience in the care home sector with experience in a management position. You will have sound knowledge of the Care Standards Act 2000, Key Lines of Enquiry, Safeguarding and the MCA. You will have be efficient whilst always putting people first, showing kindness and still have energy to love life and make it meaningful for yourself and those in your care. You love leading a team and being supportive to your colleagues as well as your residents and their families. Most importantly, you’ll feel proud to work in the care sector.
