Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Installation Support Operative to join the Homelift team, based at our site in Andover.

In this role you will provide support to the Homelift UK Installation operation. As well as maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse work area and controlling goods in and goods out.

We are looking for an individual who ideally has experience of Homelifts and has a methodical problem-solving approach to their work.

To be successful in the role previous experience in a warehouse environment would be an advantage. We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of health and safety principles and is able to show flexibility in their approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all deliveries are unloaded safely and stored in the correct area of the warehouse.
  • Ensure all new lifts are stored safely and securely and are ready and available for upcoming installs.
  • Ensure lifts are made available for collection by installation teams.
  • Maintain required stock of consumables and van stock items.
  • Order items to replenish warehouse stock and ensure van stock is kept replenished.
  • Order items on behalf of the install teams from approved Stannah suppliers
  • Deliver lifts/spare items as and when required to installation locations and other storage locations.
  • Assist with an installation as and when required to cover absences.
  • Administer the warranty returns from the Field and ensure they are sent back to the relevant manufacturer in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that both warehouse and associated areas are kept clean, tidy and in safe condition
  • Complete the forklift truck check and record the findings daily, including battery charging as and when necessary
  • Deliver customer service consistent with our brand values and ethics to both internal and external customers.
  • Achieve the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance
  • Record any incidents and report any accidents as appropriate

Requirements

  • Warehouse experience
  • Ideally have experience/knowledge of Homelifts
  • Counterbalance FLT licence
  • Full driving licence
