Hospital English Teacher

QTS Secondary English Teacher required for Hospital SchoolClassroom Teachers has a fantastic teaching opportunity to work at a Hospital school, to start with them on a full time, ongoing basis to start ASAP. This role is suitable for an experienced teacher, you must hold QTS and have experience of teaching KS3 & KS4 English curriculum.The Hospital School works with pupils from Early Years to KS4. You will be working within the hospital environment in classes or on wards. You will be Secondary trained, however you will feel comfortable teaching pupils of all ages in case it is required.Essential Requirements:Be a UK qualified teacher holding QTS or the equivalentHave extensive experience teaching English at KS3&4Have the right to work in the UKHave a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain oneBe well motivated with a degree of maturity in dealing with emotional distressBe able to liaise effectively with parents and other professionalsBe willing to work with the broader multi-disciplinary team within the hospitalBe able to maintain confidentiality at all timesAble to cope with challenging behaviour in a calm and professional wayBe very flexible in their approach in often ever changing environmentThis is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of some vulnerable pupils.
