Hospital Security Officer

We are currently seeking diligent and experienced Hospital Security Officers to join our team at Scarborough Hospital, located on Woodlands Drive in Scarborough. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Maintain a vigilant presence and conduct regular patrols to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of all on-site.

• Control access to the hospital, permitting entry only to authorized personnel and visitors.

• Respond promptly and efficiently to incidents, following all hospital policies and procedures.

• Report all incidents and escalate any issues to the appropriate authority.

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of incidents and daily tasks.

• Maintain effective communication with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.

**Key Requirements:**

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Security Officer role.

• Valid SIA license. DS & CCTV desirable.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work in a challenging environment.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.

• Flexible approach to working hours and duties.

• Good physical fitness and ability to perform physical duties.
