Additional Information: Overtime available! This Security Officer role offers an average of 42 hours a week, 12-hour shifts, on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern of day and night shifts.
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
This position will require successful candidates to maintain a safe and secure environment for our client by patrolling and monitoring the site.
Candidates will be working on a major construction project controlling access and egress to compounds on day and night shifts.
This Security Officer role would suit candidates with a front line SIA licence, and an enthusiasm for developing skills as a Security Officer.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Valid front line SIA licence
- Must be able to drive (must have own transport due to location of site)
- Confident with electronic devices
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be punctual and reliable
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills
- Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858
- Be comfortable patrolling long distances and be on your feet for extended periods of time
Desirable:
- Proven experience in security is preferred, however, training is provided for this Security Officer role.
