Hospitality Fit-Out Contracts Manager
We're currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join a market leading and growing Fit-Out and Refurbishment contractor within the Leisure and Commercial markets, project examples include; cinemas, bars, restaurants, museums and hotels to name a few. The ideal candidate will be confident in coordination of Production and Site Programmes to ensure deadlines are met and quality maintained.
Main Role
- Controlling the costs of contracts from receipt of order through to final account.
- Coordination of Production and Site Programmes to ensure deadlines are met and quality maintained.
- Deliver high quality customer care.
- Liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
- Reporting into Director level.
Tasks including:
- This role is for an established and growing contractor who specialise in full commercial fit out and refurbishment works for a variety of clients. You will have an established team around you consisting of Project Managers, site managers and Foreman so you will be overseeing the teams along with the day-to-day management of a portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding what the client or company wants to achieve
- Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project
- Drawing up a detailed plan/programme for how to achieve each stage of a project
- Manage project teams
- Negotiating with contractors and suppliers
- Directing a multi-disciplinary team
- Communicating with staff every level, in a calm, personable and with professionalism
- Overseeing several projects at the same time with the support of project managers and site teams
- Escalating issue or items in a timely manner
Experience, skills and qualifications:
- Senior management role for fast-track hotel and leisure fit-out
- SMSTS/ CSCS, etc
- Commitment to excellence and success
- The ability to motivate and lead a team
- Through knowledge of H&S legislation to minimise risk through developing and endorsing safe operating processes
- Ability to plan and make decisions, take accountability for and can justify decisions, ensuring teams deliver on those decisions
- Confident in managing multiple tasks, using initiative and judgement to take ownership for their successful completions
