Salary: GBP15.60 per hour
A mixed private school for both boarding and day pupils. Situated in Bath, Somerset. Catering for 750 students and teachers daily, we offer a core feeding of breakfast, lunch, supper, and evening snack. Lots of hospitality at this location. This is a term-time plus contract, working 48 weeks. This is a 7-day operation so working pattern would be 5 out of 7. Additional benefit of this location is free on-site parking.
We are looking for a Hospitality Manager to lead the hospitality team at one of our fantastic Locations in Bath.
You will have previous experience of working as either an Assistant Hospitality Manager or Hospitality Manager within a corporate Head Office contract or high-end independent schools.
Key responsibilities:
To manage a team ensuring hospitality is delivered on time and is presented to the clients and companies standards
To manage hospitality bookings and ensure bespoke requests are always met
To ensure company bookwork is completed accurately and on time
To hold regular team meetings
To train and develop the team
Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled
Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
Key personal skills and attributes:
Previous experience of working within a catering environment
Previous experience of serving customers within a catering establishment
Team working abilities, Listening skills, the ability to work on own initiative, impeccable personal presentation, hygiene and behaviour to others, Food hygiene certificate preferred
The ability to be adaptable and be flexible as necessary. Reliable, Honest and able to demonstrate an open attentive approach to customer service
Willingness to learn new skills and take some responsibility
Ability to manage some moderately heavy lifting, carrying, and pushing
Knowledge competencies:
Ability to demonstrate reasonable good understanding and use of verbal English
Ability to demonstrate reasonable good standard of written English and reading skills
Similar experience of customer and or food preparation environment is preferred
