We are looking for a Hostess / Host to join our enthusiastic and passionate team at James St. Restaurant.

What you do:
As a Host / Receptionist, you will be the first and last point of contact within the restaurant, welcoming guests in a warm and engaging way and taking the responsibility for maintaining a high standard of customer service.
As a person, you love to assure that each customer is made to feel welcomed, comfortable and is served promptly and politely during all dining experiences. You are confident in handling calls, recording bookings, and dealing with requests.
You naturally enjoy building rapport with customers in a friendly but professional way.
As a Host/Hostess, you are keen to use your organisational, communication and outstanding customer service skills and a passion for creating a memorable customer experience to ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved.
The role:
- Meeting, greeting & seating guests
- Answering phones & voicemails
- Maximising the occupancy within the restaurant; accepting walk-ins & manage the diary on the night
- Assist with the front of house team in relay and resetting the restaurant
- Putting the guest at the heart of everything you do
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow
- Bringing your own personality to work and encouraging others to be themselves
- Building and sustaining working relationships and collaborating with others
- Owning and taking responsibility for your actions
- Additional duties as requested by the Manager

- Be available during evenings and weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £9.50-£15.00 per hour (depending on previous experience)

- Belfast: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
