Black and White Hospitality are an innovative company involved in the management of Hotels, Restaurants and Health Clubs. The latest addition to our ever-growing portfolio provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager to open a brand-new Independent Hotel in Southgate. North London.
The hotel which will open in Q2 of 2024 is brand new and modern with an industrial twist in style it will be the leading hotel in the area. The hotel focuses on ensuring our guests facilities and services are of a very high standard. With 98 bedrooms including 15 Suites, a 70-seater restaurant, bar, outdoor terrace EV charging points and fitness room.
We are looking for an experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager with experience of managing the day-to-day maintenance in a similar sized property.
A good understanding of building services is required as is a solid experience in a maintenance role at Management level. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more building trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting/ decorating or general building maintenance.
Other desired skills/experience that would prove beneficial in the role would include IT literacy, Health & Safety and the ability to conduct first level fault finding.
The responsibilities for the Maintenance Manger's role are wide and include planned maintenance programs, reactive maintenance, defect repair and health & safety checks, good planning and organisational skills are therefore required. As the position involves working predominantly in guest areas, candidates must be smart, polite and respectful. On call duty will be required along with the possibility of working with other properties if the business requires it.
