House keeper needed in Kettering

Monday to Friday 08.00-16.00
1 .To Deep clean and descale Kitchens including ovens, freezers and fridges, public areas, bedrooms, bathrooms Showers/ baths/lavatories, kitchens, corridors, staircases, foyers, as
Indicated by the Domestic Supervisor in charge of the building following
Procedures clearing rubbish, dusting, damp dusting,
Vacuuming, making beds, cleaning internal glass, sweeping, mopping,
Carpet cleaning washing walls/skirting boards as appropriate.
Use of cleaning products in order to achieve and maintain high
Cleaning standards in line with service level requirements to a hotel standard
Guest rooms
Tea/coffee and milk to be replenished daily to guest rooms
Bed linen to be changed as per supervisor's instruction and towels to be placed neatly in the shower rooms
Shower rooms to be replenished with shower gel/Shampoo - Shower curtains to be checked and replaced if required
Guest rooms to be left neat and tidy, cleaned to a high standard
- Ensure you wear personal protective equipment provided during all cleaning activities
And to report possible hazards to the Domestic supervisor
- Ensure the door access cards are returned to the Domestic Supervisor at the end of each shift
Any cards lost must be reported immediately
Ensure that cleaning chemicals and consumables are stored safely and secure at all times
Participate in ensuring the general safety/security of buildings by reporting
Immediately to the Domestic Supervisor any failure of equipment or fixtures
Or fittings i.e. broken microwave. Kettle, cooker. Light bulbs that have failed
- To undertake. From time to time, such other reasonable duties as may be
Requested by the Domestic supervisor which are consistent with the nature
Of the position and to provide excellent customer care for staff, students
And visitors to the University.
Dress code
Uniforms must be worn at all times, passes are also to be worn and all times whilst on site
