Ensure housekeeping and day to day management of the theatre kitchen, staff room and the environment is maintained, in that: The main staff room refrigerators are cleaned and temperature is recorded daily. Any consumable items are properly stored and within date. Microwaves are cleaned daily. Carry out daily cleaning responsibilities delegated by the Matron. Accept and decant scrub to appropriate locations Undertake the cleaning of the theatre storerooms, shelving and equipment on a rotation basis: Stocks are removed, shelves cleaned, expiry dates checked and stocks returned to appropriate area. Theatre equipment is cleaned according to the manufacture instruction and UHL standards. (Please refer to the job description/person specification for further details)
