Housekeeper

As a Housekeeper at The Royal Artillery School, Larkhill Garrison. You'll deliver housekeeping services to create a safe and healthy environment. Your role is key and you'll be a true valued member of our team. You'll interact with our armed forces personnel daily, improving the quality of life in everyone you meet!  Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:  

To maintain high standards of personal, operational hygiene and presentation. Conduct must remain professional at all times.
To ensure provision of early morning calls with tea service.
To ensure daily room cleaning, airing and making of beds, including weekly bed change.
To ensure the daily cleaning of sinks, baths, showers and toilets to the prescribed standard.
To carry out periodic cleaning tasks.
To ensure the cleaning/dusting/polishing of all furniture, brass work, mirrors, windows and paintwork as per cleaning schedules and to prescribed.
To ensure the sorting, despatch, listing receipt of laundry items and personal laundry.
To report defects to the Mess Manager or his/her deputy and to ensure replacement of light bulbs as required.
To adhere of Company Quality Control procedures and Health & Safety procedures.
To remove /re-hang window curtains as directed, curtain hooks etc to be removed/replaced.
To train staff in the appropriate skills as necessary.
To develop your own skills within the scope of this position.

What you bring: 

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally housekeeping however, if you have no experience.. we offer a fabulous training and induction to get you there!
Excellent customer service and communication skills 
Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed 
Be a team player and take instruction
