Housekeeping

The Avoca Hotel are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join their experienced team on a part time basis. Applicants must be flexible to work a mixture of weekdays and weekend mornings on a rota basis and be able to clean to a very high standard.

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our establishment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a hospitality or hotel background who take pride in their work and enjoy creating a welcoming environment for guests.

```Duties```
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors
- Change bed linens and replenish towels and toiletries
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to health and safety regulations

```Requirements```
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of duties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Please note that this position may require standing for extended periods of time and lifting/moving heavy objects.
