Job description
Student and Campus Life (SCL) at Queen’s University Belfast provides accommodation for over 4000 students across several sites (for example Elms Village – Malone Road BT9, Elms BT1 – College Avenue and Elms BT2 – McClintock Street). We are currently recruiting for Housekeeping Assistants to join our team of over 30 colleagues based in the University area.

You will work as part of a flexible hard working team, where you will clean an allocated area of responsibility, such as student bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas to a set standard. When you join Queen’s you will be provided with full training on appropriate cleaning techniques, equipment and expected cleaning standards.

We are always open to new ways of working so talk to us about the flexibility you need to enable you to do this job. For example, starting at 9:30am to facilitate school drop-off.

This is a permanent, part-time post from 16-25 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 1.00pm (can be flexible).

The successful candidate must have, and your completed application form should clearly demonstrate you have:
  • Cleaning experience, preferably, but not limited to, a commercial residential workplace such as a hotel or student accommodation
