Housekeeping Assistant - Belleaire House

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to be part of the team in Belleaire House Care Home. Overlooking the picturesque town of Greenock and River Clyde beyond, Belleaire House is set within an impressive Victorian Mansion, only 40 minutes from Glasgow. Featuring fully-furnished ensuite rooms, modernised to high safety standards, the home provides exceptional levels of care to frail, elderly residents and those living with dementia.

Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
• Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
• Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.
• Daily completion of cleaning schedules and documents
   

Skills and Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Salary: £11.50 + overtime rates + benefits
