We are searching for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at our Haviland House Home.

Role:
The post holder will be responsible for the presentation, cleanliness and safety of the home. You will work in accordance with Guild Care standards of quality, safety and compliance adhering at all times to Guild Care policies and procedures.
You will be a member of the home’s senior management team helping to create an atmosphere in the home that is welcoming, friendly and protects the privacy, personal choice and dignity of residents and family members, paying attention to the small details that are important to the individual. You will also be expected to manage the housekeeping team, providing training, support and supervision to all team members.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience of managing or supervising in a Housekeeping setting, including staff management.
- Demonstrates a keen eye for detail, ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and an understanding of how to apply it to a care home.
- Ability to maintain a budget
- Good IT and computer skills, competent at using Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
- To be professional and credible when representing Guild Care
- Excellent communication skills both in person and in writing
- Ensures a high standard of customer service, interacting positively with the individuals living in the home, their families and visitors.
- The post holder must be able to provide a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Check
- Experience of working with older people
- Experience of working in a care home or residential setting
