Housekeeping Assistant

Location: Rivers Hospital, Sawbridgeworth

Hours: Part-time or Full-time hours considered - Day Shifts 9am - 5pm or Night Shifts 9pm - 5am 
Salary: depending on experience + enhancement rates between 30% - 100% for evenings, weekends and bank holidays

The Rivers Hospital is one of the leading private hospitals in the UK and is located in Sawbridgeworth on the Essex, Hertfordshire border in beautiful countryside.
The hospital is equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment, and has very high quality clinical standards including effective infection prevention measures. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The five fully equipped theatres with ultra clean air technology are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement. Two-day surgery suites are suitable for minor surgery and endoscopy procedures. 
The role:
You as the Housekeeping Assistant will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.

You will need to be/have:

•    Good communication skills

•    Passionate about high standards of cleanliness    

•    Friendly outgoing personality

•    Knowledge of current cleaning protocols    

•    Attention to detail

•    Proven ability to work in a team or independently as required    

•    Competent computer skills

•    Committed & Flexible    

•    Excellent customer skills


Responsibilities:


•    Cleaning of communal and residential areas
•    Cleaning of fans and radiators
•    Ordering and control of domestic stocks
•    Use of laundry/housekeeping equipment
•    Washing and drying of residents clothes
•    Ordering and distribution of name labels for resident’s clothes
•    Delivery of clean resident clothing
•    Delivery of high standards of Customer Service
•    Contribute to the development of new practises of work 
•    Have a good understanding of current infection control regulations and ensure that these are applied
•    Work in accordance with the Ramsay Minimum Standards documents
