Housekeeping Supervisor

Stoke by Nayland Resort is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join its Housekeeping Team.

This is a great opportunity for someone already in a supervisory role looking for a change or someone looking to progress further in their career.

The successful individual will work with the housekeeping team and report to the Housekeeping Manager.

General day-to-day duties may include:

• Ensure the team works to the standards defined in the department’s SOP
• When required, support the Head Housekeeper and Housekeeping Manager in coordinating the team.
• Ensure daily completion of checklists and job sheets
• Proactively support staff with the timely completion of their duties
• Assist and work with the team to clean and maintain all areas of the hotel and lodges, including public areas and on-site laundry
• Checking rooms and facilities and reporting any maintenance issues following the correct channels
• Ensure the uniform and PPE standards are met within the department
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed by the team, including Health & Safety and COSHH

• Knowledge and experience in housekeeping and cleaning
• Ability to take direction
• An effective communicator
• Some experience in leading a team preferred

This is a full-time position and the hours are variable, dependent on the needs of the business. This role will include evening and weekend work.
