Housing Coordinator
Based in Edinburgh (Hybrid working)
£14.81 per hour + holiday pay
Reed Business Support are pleased to be working on a Housing Coordinator role with one of Scotland's leading social housing providers. This will be a 12 - 16 week contract suited for a candidate with a background in Housing. This is sure to be a fast-paced, interesting role perfect for candidate who like communicating with others and handling a varied workload.

- Start date: ASAP
- Hours: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm) (Compressed 28 hour week available)
- 1 day per week in the office (candidates are welcome to work more if they choose)
Key responsibilities:
- Responding to requests and enquiries directed to the housing service
- Conducting property visits to get papers signed, hand over keys, and assist with void inspections
- Supporting management with a variety of admin processes including checking rent accounts, maintaining key control, issuing and recording void inspection documentation, arranging inspections, and monitoring letting processes
- Processing applications, running shortlists, sending offer letters, and requesting tenancy references
- Producing new tenant documents
- Providing reports as required
- Maintaining the Housing Management System
- Maintaining records of all enquiries, interactions, and cases
- Carrying out admin tasks related to rent re-registrations, annual rent reviews, and housing benefit notifications
- Assisting with the preparation of current rent arrears cases including compiling documentation
Person specifications:
- Previous experience working in the Housing sector
- Excellent admin and organisational skills
- Full driving license (and access to car if under 25 or a new driver)
- Previous experience dealing with customers and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexibly and manage a varied workload
- Good IT Skills - particularly Microsoft Office
