Job Title: Housing Management Worker

Salary: £14.47 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week
Job Purpose:
As a Housing Management Worker, you will support the delivery of our property-based Crisis, Empower, and Home projects. Your role will involve ensuring health and safety standards are met, properties are well-maintained, and management tasks such as repairs, maintenance scheduling, and rent collection are efficiently handled. You'll work alongside our dedicated Housing Management Team to fill property vacancies in accordance with our organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
" Ensure health and safety obligations are met.
" Oversee property decoration and furnishing.
" Schedule repairs and maintenance.
" Collect rents and service charges.
" Fill property vacancies as per organizational policies.
About Our Properties and Residents:
Our existing property portfolio consists of 82 properties, including:
Immediate access housing for individuals with multiple and complex needs.
" Safe accommodation with holistic support for young women/people experiencing homelessness or leaving the care system, and young mothers with their children.
" Housing for families escaping domestic abuse.
" Properties transitioning from open market lettings to more mission-focused uses.
" Drop-in support services for those experiencing homelessness.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in Housing Management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and families.
