The service you will work in .

We have 8 Domestic Abuse accommodation based services across Wandsworth & Richmond alongside a floating support service. We aim to provide holistic, trauma informed care and support to those who access our services. We support men, women and children to re-build their lives and begin their recovery journey.

You will hold a cased of 5 women and work in partnership with external agencies. You will provide emotional and practical support which includes safety planning, risk assessing, maximising income, Budgeting and Housing. We are looking for an empathetic, dedicated and resilient female who is passionate in ending violence towards women and girls. Eager to support vulnerable, marginalised women and children to re-build their lives and reach their full potential.

A day in this role looks like .

As a Complex Needs Support Worker at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Domestic Abuse Service . Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.

A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:

  • Complex needs support worker will have allocated service users to carry out 1:1 support session.
  • You would explore service user's needs and refer to services to ensure needs are met.
  • Carrying out safeguarding concerns to safeguarding leads, social services, and Mental Health.
  • You would oversee being a part of strategies meetings involving professionals and ensure case notes are update, assessments carried on and safety plans are reviewed.
  • You will oversee housing maintenance regarding repairs and following health and safety guidelines.
