Your new role
Supported Housing Officer needed to support clients facing homelessness or leaving prison to sustain temporary accomodation.
- Induct new clients into their accommodation and the service, setting clear expectations.
- Enable clients to co-produce and engage with our high-quality person-centred services, where a strengths based, and trauma-informed approach is taken.
- Pro-actively identify and resolve all property related issues efficiently, in conjunction with the property manager and/or the maintenance and facilities team.
- Managing and maintaining property inventories, ensuring that domestic supplies, furniture, and equipment are in place and fit for purpose.
- Undertake visits, ensuring all properties and clients are visited in-person weekly.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- A valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work
- Experience in the supported housing sector, ideally having worked with people on probation.
- Resilient and able to deal with people who are complex and may exhibit behaviours that may challenge.
- Willingness to work flexibly until 8pm, as needed, to support new arrivals into properties.
- This role entails a lot of travelling and lone work so the ideal candidate would need to very self sufficient.
