Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Housing Officer to join our clients team. The Housing Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and maintenance of their housing properties, as well as providing support and assistance to tenants. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve while contributing to the success of their organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of housing properties, including conducting regular inspections, maintenance checks, and addressing any issues promptly.
- Facilitate the tenancy process, including conducting interviews, verifying eligibility, and preparing tenancy agreements.
- Provide support and assistance to tenants, including addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and connecting them with relevant services and resources.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to property management, tenant interactions, and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with housing regulations, lease agreements, and organisational policies.
- Participate in community outreach and engagement initiatives to promote our housing programmes and services.
