Join Our Strategic Housing Team: Help Shape the Future of Affordable Living in Pembrokeshire!


Job Purpose: Be at the forefront of change as you help lead the coordination, programming, and facilitation of affordable and specialist housing programs in Pembrokeshire. This important role involves collaboration with key partners to help develop and improve the housing landscape in Pembrokeshire.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Seize opportunities and drive the delivery of innovative Affordable Housing initiatives. Source and maximize external funding, fostering partnerships with local developers. Provide project management and strategic advice on capital accommodation programs. Elevate the quality, affordability, and diversity of housing developments to meet local needs.


Requirements:

  • Fulfil your potential with a job-related degree or CIH Level 4 in Housing.
  • Utilise your experience in project management, building, surveying, housing, or architecture.
  • Command comprehensive knowledge of housing legislation, including the Housing (Wales) Act 2014.
  • Experience and a history of successful partnership working with communities, private companies, or voluntary organizations.
  • Demonstrate a detailed understanding of emerging housing improvement models.

Skills: Bring commitment, enthusiasm, and interest into transforming Affordable Housing provision. You will need strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. IT Microsoft Office skills essential. A valid UK driving license and Welsh language proficiency are advantageous.


Working Environment: A desk-based role with the requirement to travel to various locations throughout Pembrokeshire and occasionally out of county.
