Housing Operations Team Leader

Baird and Co Recruitment, a specialist Social Housing recruitment firm, are currently working in partnership with a High Wycombe Registered Provider looking for a Housing Operations Team Leader on an interim basis.

The Housing Operations Team Leader role seeks those with previous experience in Social Housing with an eye for strategic and operational service delivery.

Initially for three months, this is a hybrid position with 2-3 days a week in the office.

The Housing Operations Team Leader will have several key responsibilities, including:

• Managing a team that provide high-level support to those in general needs tenancies
• Guiding, advising and supporting housing staff with a focus on consumer standards, service delivery and the tenant voice
• Enabling teams to proactively identify unmet support needs by taking a coordinated holistic approach to support planning
• Coordinating and identifying signposting services
• Working collaboratively with the team to unify best practice

In order to apply for the Housing Operations Team Leader role, the below is required:

• Extensive people/team management experience and knowledge of support services/complex casework
• Knowledge of performance management and setting expectations
• Experience of successfully delivering transformational change
• An understanding of support services including hoarding, domestic abuse, social care, MARAC meetings and dovetailing support services with ASB
