Housing Paralegal – Leading UK Law Firm – Leeds

Taylor Root have partnered with a leading UK law firm in their search for a Paralegal to join their Housing team in Leeds. This role will be offered on a permanent basis.

The Firm

A leading UK law firm who sits in the UK-Top 100, advising businesses across construction, energy & resource management, financial services, which complements the firms market leadership within housing, local government and social care.

The Team

The housing team act mostly for Housing Associations, providing advice on all aspects of property law, including governance & corporate, funding, property and development and tenant & leaseholder management.

The Role

The successful candidate will be working on a wide range of property matters, predominantly focused on sales for the firms Housing Associations clients (shared ownership, re-sale price covenant, outright sales, and land disposals). You will also help with acquisitions from developers and security work.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have a minimum of 6 months experience working as a Paralegal in another leading law firm. It would help if this experience is gained within social housing, development, plot sales or residential conveyancing.
