Reporting to the Strategic Lead: Regulatory Compliance you will support the Housing Leadership team with strategy and policy development – enabling the whole housing service to be fully compliant with all regulatory or statutory obligations.
You will lead, develop and co-ordinate responses to Government Consultations and scan the policy horizon and bring forward well informed, proportionate, and affordable strategies and policies for the housing service to adopt.
You must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge, understanding and practical experience of the social housing sector, Housing Policy, strategy, regulations and/or related activity.
To hold a relevant Housing qualification (or equivalent) is essential criteria for this role, as is previous experience of undertaking research, drafting and producing housing policies/strategies and to have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
