An exciting opportunity for a competent, capable and organised HOUSING PROPERTY MANAGER ideally with housing benefit experience, capable of undertaking all aspects of the Property Management role.
Our client is a fast growing and dynamic company which offers an array of housing services, from residential lettings to property management. They currently manage a portfolio of over 600 properties throughout West London and are looking for a Property Manager who will work to ensure relationships between themselves, landlords, estate agents and tenants run smoothly.
You will be dealing with all aspects of managing the portfolio of HMO s. The role is very varied: from daily property inspections and arranging individual maintenance jobs to looking after the paperwork and administering and collecting rent.
You will need to be accurate and dependable, careful and thorough, responsible and confident, and have had previous customer support experience (2 years).
The role is based in Chiswick, so a candidate who lives in the general area would be preferred.
The main duties for this HOUSING PROPERTY MANAGER role will include:
- Daily property inspections of HMO s
- Dealing with property maintenance
- Administering rents, chasing and managing arrears
- Administrative duties, keeping paperwork up to date and filing
- Processing and updating property management software
- Manage relationships with tenants and landlords
- Responsibility for Health & Safety and compliance issues
- Excellent and confident speaking manner
- Fluent English
- Housing Benefit experience preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Proven experience within customer service
- Computer knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Full clean driving licence (Mileage allowance will be paid if you have your own car)
- Local area knowledge
