Job Title:Housing Solutions Officer

Location: Ealing, London

Hourly rate : £20.52 PAYE

Contract Type: Temporary

Contract Length: 3 months, possibility of extension

Working Pattern: Full Time, 35 hours

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals and families in finding suitable Housing Solutions within the Ealing area.
  • Utilise expertise in allocation systems such as Locata, OHMS, and Jigsaw to match clients with appropriate housing options.
  • Collaborate with the housing team to assess and prioritise applications, ensuring fair and efficient allocation of social housing.
  • Conduct assessments to determine eligibility for housing support services.
  • Provide advice and guidance to clients on relevant housing policies, procedures, and available resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and housing offers.
  • Liaise with external partners, including landlords and housing providers, to secure additional housing opportunities.
  • Advocate for vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring their needs are considered in housing allocation decisions.
  • Continuously monitor and review housing allocations processes, suggesting improvements where necessary.

Our client, a public sector organisation in Ealing, London, is seeking a Housing Solutions Officer to join their team for a temporary contract of 3 months. As a Housing Solutions Officer, you will play a vital role in assisting clients in finding suitable housing options.
