We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Engage Leeds team. As a Housing Support Worker you will work alongside colleagues and partners, managing a caseload delivering housing related support to people at risk of homelessness or require support to sustain their accommodation. We are looking for candidate who:
- Have experience of working in a housing / support environment and understand the issues faced by clients with Housing Support needs.
- can deliver high quality, customer focused, responsive and accountable support to those accessing the service.
- can be an effective communicator, be able to influence others, work under their own initiative and under pressure.
- Ensure service provision is sensitive to the needs of clients, promote empowerment, self-resilience and respect individual dignity and self-esteem.
- Assist Team Leaders and Engage Leeds partners to develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and local community partners.
