Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

Recruiting for a leading Housing Association, they are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Housing Support Worker for a 6-month temporary contract in the Stockport/Bolton area.
Key Responsibilities:
Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of 10-12 residents, providing Housing Support and guidance to prison leavers in the community.
Lone Working: Engage in lone working to deliver flexible support in residents' homes, ensuring their successful move-on and achieving measurable outcomes.
Rent Collection: Maximize rent collection by submitting and maintaining successful housing and welfare benefit claims, proactively minimizing rent arrears.
Property Visits: Conduct regular property visits, providing assistance, guidance, and support to residents in their transition to independent living.
Team Collaboration: Regularly meet with the team and report to the Service Lead, Kelly McIntyre, to discuss and reflect on complex cases.
Training and Meetings: Attend training sessions and team meetings, requiring occasional travel.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Enhanced Adult DBS.
- Previous experience in Housing Support or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of housing and welfare benefit procedures.
Working Conditions:
Flexible working in the community, including the option to work from home between property visits.
Lone working with regular team and manager meetings.
Travel required for training and team meetings.
